T O P I C R E V I E WpeachbeigeblueI'm watching the Adjustment Bureau again (first time I saw it I was like that's kind of like the astrology principle!)Anyways - if possible, how can you tell if someone is a fated encounter from birth charts ... whether to stay in your life, or to pass through your life, to get you into something, out of something?Any thoughts?RedScorpHey babe, I heard the NN and SN are places to start when it comes to fate...friturePeople that came and left, but with a strong impression (even if just for a short while) usually have vertex contacts with me (personal planet conj vertex/vertex conj vertex).Edit:I checked later, and found out that my dad and I has vertex opp vertex, 3deg though out of sign (so not sure if it counts). My mum has her vertex conj her 3 daughters' vertex from 1 to 3 degs. Can this mean it's a fated mother-daughter relationship?Kinda felt creepy finding this out. We're all pretty close even if living apart. RedScorp^VERTEX! It crossed my mind but I couldn't place it!Doux RêveI agree with RS and friture, NN & SN contacts, and Vertex & Anti Vertex contacts are usually quite potent. Although they can be quite short-lived, especially the Vertex ones. Also, I'd count angle connections, especially if close. ASC/DSC conjunction, exact square, IC or MC to an angle, etc.Oh and obviously, angles to the Nodes and Vertex axis, more subtle but powerful also.amowls**Saturn contacts and IC, also. They deal with karma. My boyfriend and I have double whammy ASC conjunct Vertex, his Moon conjunct my SN, his MC conjunct my IC, his Saturn conjunct my Mars.Past life relationship, definitely. We have to work out whatever karma we've accrued.peachbeigeblueThanks for your feedback! I applied that to some people who I think have been important in shaping my life. I decreased the orbs down to 20% and then again down to 5%. Can you guys check it out and tell me what you think? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/003554.html lovelyleoMy boy friend and I have Chiron conjunct Saturn exact or within a few seconds. I wonder if this is fated? Gemini BluesMy $.02...Nodes, Vertex, Asc/DC all fated, but look for Saturn for staying power.I would add mutual completion of geometry... GT, GC and the like to "lock up" a connection. Maybe not lifetime but at least long term.OdetteAlso - degrees matter when it comes to fate. There will be some significant degrees in your chart - either the degree of the Sun or a degree that is repeated a few times over. For me the degrees are 12' and 9'. If a person had no planets or points at either 12' or 9' degrees of any sign, it probably wouldn't feel fated.
Anyways - if possible, how can you tell if someone is a fated encounter from birth charts ... whether to stay in your life, or to pass through your life, to get you into something, out of something?
Any thoughts?
